Its been too long

Seriously almost a year with no update. I'm long overdue here so lets begin.

Job hunting has been difficult. Still putting in applications but no success here yet. And it has taken a lot of time as well. So now I'm planning three costumes and I think registration for the Brisnova contest has closed. If it has its not a huge problem as I will be trying to get to other cons this year. Like the Sydney animania which sounds like it has a better atmosphere than the other conventions I have been too (only Brisbane ones). So it would be great for this year to try a convention outside the state. Yay for that.

Have been hearing about soundwave that just happened on Saturday. It sounded very brutal in the moshness so sort of glad that I can't think of any punk/metal bands I may have missed.

Also I finally finished mario three, world seven, the pipe maze. I have been thinking about that for years whenever I have periods of time free like the uni hols and I got the snes out an played it again and finished the world. I found an excellent life harvesting stage. The first fortress allows you to collect massive amount of coins from the "P" block switches. So I gathered a heap of extra lives and I was able to try the stages many times event though I kept getting eaten by pipe plants and turtles and falling down holes and on spike pits...There are so may ways to lose a life in mario and only one way to get through the course.

And I have found the levels where you are literally running around for six seconds and then dying hilarious. But it involves a lot of cognitive working memory strategies.

Anyway I have boots/padded leg cones and leggings to organise and am entering the countdown at five weeks and three days. Best of luck to all.
